ICE Monk's i10 - budget no bar! :-) ...wait, actually 20k

Hi Gunbir,

Sorry to spam like that, I am a new member and dont know how to start a conversation here on the forum.

Could you please suggest an excellent music system for my new i10, budget is no bar. The only issue is that this is my wife's car and she is not intrested in getting the cuts in parceltray and putting speakers there. Is it possible to have the same quality of sound with door speakers? If yes than would you be kind enough to suggest the HU and speakers/system. USB is a must. Waiting for your response.

Hi monk optra,
well firstly welcome to tbhp.
secondly this is the wrong place to post this kind of a question.make your own thread.don't hijack this soap opera thread.its my daily dose of entertainment.

Thirdly you just opened pandora's box by saying that "budget is no bar"."Come on people, lets start the firing!!"

Once you step into tbhp ice section your budget will see bars that you would have never ever imagined.Lol.all the best for your search for "budget no bar" ICE.

This is a firecracker statement. Man atleast make a above limit else we here at T-BHP can offer you 1 lac HU, 7 lac front speakers, 5 lac amp, 1.5 lac for the subs and about 1 lac for the wiring....Installlation extra.

Do not mind we are like that only...

(NOTE:- This is not a marketing attempt so please...chill)

Make that 12 lac for the front speakers, and 1.5 - 2 lac for the HU. Amps will easily exceed more then 5 lac.

Thanks for alll the responses. Yes true , money allocated is 20k and as i said can streatch a bit more and that's it. I am a novice in acoustics but have always seen, like many other things in life, that ultimate value deliverd is not necessarily in proportinate to the buck spent. It never goes linear.Hence would apreciate suggestion based on wisdom and creativity on the part of esteemed members. Thanks again.

Here goes Monkji :
1. Kenwood 5039/5539 hu/pioneer 4050ub for about 6k
2. Jbl gto608c component system for the front doors about 5k
3.jbl gt5s644/604 amp for 5.5k grey
4. Jbl 1204br enclosed subwoofer for about 8k
5. Wiring, rca cables and installation 3k
Thats an entry level config including the sub and without rears. If you want better components and a better head unit you can skip the subwoofer for now and get it later
