The install is almost done, folks. I think this weekend will see the car 100% done. I saw the car this Monday.

Zak is a bit tied up getting his family and himself settled down in Bangalore -- he had to move there for a while for some work. Moving house to a different state, with two children needing to be setup in kindergarten/school etc. is no easy task. I'm sure he'll post the final pics as soon as the install is fini.

There needs to be special rules in our forum against people who abandon their thread half way around.

The install is done, tuning remains.

Everything was hooked up yesterday. I was right there as it was being done, so I got a sample of how the setup is going to sound. Right after the wires were hooked up, and the starting points set in the amps, the setup sounded great. I can't wait to listen to it once the tuning is done, and once the speakers have broken in.

The car has been damped so solid, it feels like listening to music inside a room made of stone. And guess what, the whine of the fuel pump has been reduced to nearly zero, inside the cabin. The doors feel like they've been carved out of granite. ASHWIN remarked they shut like the doors of a 7-series.

As for blingness factor, this car will definitely not lack for it. Z has left provision for even further bling, to be customised to Zak's needs, once he gets here. Wait for the pics!!!

Congrats, Zak, you have got one helluva setup waiting for you.

Pics Pics Pics!!! Two BLING Setups having the same Equipment SLC's and iDMAX. I cant wait to see the install.

And I know how this combo sounds, So I am pretty sure how it must be sounding. Absolute musical heaven. And SLC's Sound even great after they break in so give them time to settle down and play at their full potential.

Congrats ZAK. BTW where is he?? Not seen him post any posts here or is he grinning away seeing everybody here crave for pics??

As long as the install goes, I am not very different from the position as you all are. I have all the information what Hydrashok has posted here. Rest, I am also zero like you guys.

I've posted all the pics I had. I have typed in almost everything I know, assume about the install.

I was supposed to be in Cochin in another hour or so. But some urgent work has cropped up again and I am stuck till 8pm. Will try and catch a flight after that or a train if possible. Else, tomorrow morning! :(

There was no use posting zero information here. So, just stayed quiet without wasting the thread.

Many have gone tired waiting.
But, that's how this project has turned out to.

I am so particular about ICE and ICE installs happening in Cochin, no matter what, when and where! I try and reach the place and gets a peek and if possible; a listening session. I used to take all efforts to fulfill this thirst.
Now, call it cruel fate or funny coincidence! When my car is getting some ICE installed (for which I had waited for more than 2 years or so), I am not anywhere near it. My gaaaaawwwd!! Why Me? Why Me??

Anyway, Some solace and calming gestures from my dear friends and my very helpful installer kept me in one piece till now. sometimes I thought I would just blow up into a million of DNA samples just due to frustration.

After the install was over and everything done, my installer decided to get the small issue with the AC sorted out. He opened a can of worms there. The AC compressor was in a very bad condition and we decided to just go in for a new one. Call it the spending spree or whatsoever sort of craziness for that matter, but it was the decision taken.
Rains, lack of willing and capable workers ready to work at my installer's place, finding a suitable compressor etc.. took longer than we expected. The work on the AC is still going on and I think it will be ready by next Wednesday.

IT IS SHOW TIME!!
All those who have been waiting all this long for a glimpse of the finished car, Tomorrow is the day to tune in!!
And it will be a SURPRISE, I promise. Maybe, another first in team-bhp ICE section!!
