Zak, while we are happy guessing what the BIG sub will be, I know you are silently working on the next (additional) component in the setup.

It's a 12" Hammer sub isn't it?

True to the T-BHP tradition, the budgets had been tossed in the wind now and as we suspected, you are now fully in. I personally can't wait to hear/see everything at work.

Front components.

This is another big issue!
The front sound stage is the most important in any ICE setup and I didn't want to compromise in this department by a bit. We DDDed about this over the phone, over chai, biscuits, cakes, tandoori chickens and even some pots full of boiled tapioca, sometimes the discussions went to late in the nights and then sunrise!
I had some italians on stock with me and they had to be kept aside and later I let it go. Yes, it was as painful as scraping my jewels on a nail pointed hacksaw!!
Then the Americans came in, thanks to a crooked Ahok from Hyderabad. I contemplated over it and did lots of different auditions in different vehicles. Amazing speakers! Something which I may sell kidneys and a ball (eye) for. But then they were a bit too unforgiving. Any small irregularities in the recording quality/medium was on my face. I loved it but I am not yet a so called audiophile to have that good quality ears or music collection to own one of these great marques.
I then went on an indian audition trip in which I got to listen to some of the best brands and products available/not available in India.
Then, the germans invaded! Rainbow was some revelation to my ICE life. It didnt take me long to get myself converted to a german fan!

So, here it lies, my choice of front stage speakers for this car:

Did anybody notice the bulb I got for free? ;-)

12" is not a BIG sub by any chance

bulb is a good idea. more bling to light up the crossovers

for those of you who are wondering, its actually there for protection

hmm... resistors? like people who are against government policies? oh you say 6, let me see. Yes I do see six of that white cylinder like thingys, but to spot a bulb on top of that, you either have very very sharp eyes or you have already seen this in action. I hope it is the later as I am beginning to doubt my eyesight. And with a setup like this, looks like my hearing is also be strained soon.

Here it is!!!

Man, That was just a joke. No need to take it so seriously.
And I don't think it will do much big an alteration to the sound.

Perfect Choice Zak, This Pair of speaker sounds Perfect and can put many other speakers in the same or even higher price bracket to shame.

The OLD LRx were awesome amps, The Treasure was well protected.

Did My Install Influence this decision by any percentage???

hehe its looks like carbon copy of your setup in Lancer with a few adjustments here and there

OT

But the bulb reminds me of the Action Shoes AD.

To give credit where it is due, YES!
M4ugr8's car was the first car in which I heard the SLCs. I had only heard them on a test bench earlier.

Hearing them in your car made my decision go strong and stronger!
Thanks Manan!

Rear fills!

Yes. They're just fills.
They'll be doing very little job. I didn't want to spend a big bomb on it but just wanted to get something which will gel well with the front components.

So, here it is:
