My Lancer goes on an ICEy trip!

I have traveled almost 10,000 Kilometers for this beauty.
I have spent almost a month or more of sleepless nights.
I have gone thru lots of pains to get this car to what it is.
I have fought with my wife on numerous occasion due to this car.

After all, this was my STAR and I couldn't live without her (umm.. umm.. not wife)!!!

Here, She lies!
My Lancer goes on an ICEy trip!-mivecside.jpg

Now, She' finally back!
And first thing to do on this car now is to take her on an ICEy trip!

Here, I am going to post everything which will be done in this car in connection to ICE.
Fasten your seat belts, relax and get ready for the take off!

Note: This is just the first Thread opener post. I will try and update this whenever possible. Keep an eye here!

Some background!

I am sitting in my Bangalore office.
The car was left at Emperor, Cochin.
Zuhemi, my faithful installer will be in charge of this install too.
We had decided on the equipment last month itself.
The install will take almost a week to complete. Yes, really slow like broadband in India.
I have requested him to make this install look good without bling (Possible????).
Car runs on an extra big battery and bigger alternator which will handle all the extra load, hopefully.
There will be some good damping.
I am not worried of some extra weight because the car is a bit faster in it's stock avataar. Maybe due to the K&N Apollo air filter. Otherwise, there is not much performance mods done. Engine is as it is. No turbo vurbo, forced inductions, injections, port polish.... Zilch!!!

My favorite brands like Pioneer, Xplod, Dhoom, Mega audio etc... will be fitted no matter what guys may think!

There was a big piece of discussion when we did the planning.
I am planning to either run the sub amp at 1 ohms or 4 ohms. In case of the former config, then I am sure looking upto a big hole in the pocket in the wiring department.

Anyway, it's going to be 0g power wiring. *running for cover*
Distribution block will be installed. Most probably, it will be from CONNECTION stable.
I have a Connection Audison 1.3 Farad capacitor with me which I had picked up a year ago. It has a cool looking digital display which will add some gizmo touch to the wiring department and add to the overall eye candy. LoL!!!

Wiring brands:
Power wiring will be sourced from Germany. AIV cables or some similar name. I checked the quality myself and made sure I am satisfied before I zeroed in on this brand.

RCA cables will be Connection Audison. We're searching the whole godowns and warehouses of Emperor to find a set of Sonus RCAs. Pray, pray, pray! If not, I'll settle with Scosche.

I haven't managed to catch Zuhemi on phone this evening. So, I dunno what all are today's update on the install.
