My Palio's ICE Journey

Guys finally i have started to ICE my car from scratch. Now i have removed all the wiring and equipment from the car.

Power cable / RCA's has been laid down. Amps / crossovers are mounted on the board (Pics of the same below). Hoping to finish the install by next week, most probably by Tuesday.

Regarding equipment keep on gaaaaaaaaaaassing

Great. Really neat work so far, looks like it will be an excellent showcase. Assuming that the amp terminals are facing the bottom (and settings/knobs at the top), the crossovers are pointing the wrong way and will require speaker wire routing at the top, instead of coming down towards the seat hinge.

Lol yeah we realized that and once we start the wiring for the speakers today we will change the amps upside down too .

As far the work goes , its all done by our own hands .

Well yeah , its Abhibh in the pic

And as far the stuff , nothing serious

when compared to what you guys have .

Well even though no1 is interested in the thread still i will keep updating till I ICE the car totally .

Well Head unit has been done , though we are using a temporary Head Unit for some time.

All wires have been routed in the car . And i am very happy with the way we handled it . Its my 1st attempt to do the setup myself . Quite happy even though its quite difficult job :P

Well i will be inactive till sunday night . going Delhi for few stuff which isn't available in Chandigarh .

In short words , Chandigarh S**k when it comes to ICE .

And thanks to one of our team-bhp member for his help n support .

Hey ankit this is very interesting thread. Especially since it's a DIY install. I was cotemplating a DIY for my Linea but not sure what it requires in terms of tooling, etc. It's great to see someone installing their ICE themselves.

Well its a Pioneer which will be shifted to another Pioneer soon .

i hope you will guess it now pretty easily .

The 2nd pioneer would be the 8850? or the P80? or the 6050?
