Both channels are line level only (nominal 6V). You will need an amplifier to use these channels to power any speaker (subwoofer or 6x9).
well, to conclude, pls suggest which channel would b best suit(1-4 or 5&6?) to active amp+subw?
which subw&amp? OR adding centre spkr r sufficient. feel this coz current setup lacking in mid, low-mid area. price, model?

thanks.

OT:Oops..bit busy in off. work, hence couldnt reply since long.

The bass link is not cabale as a good slead box subwoofer but is far more compact and will go lower than most 6x9s in a rear deck.

A 6x9 is designed to work in the rear deck (think Infinite baffle) and provide a midbass (50-70Hz) hump in the response. It cannot produce the same SPLs of a bass link at say 30-35Hz. The Bass link however is mean to complement a good 6" coax and can even be tuned to complement a pair of 6x9s providing the last (lowest) octave or so while the 6x9 or 6" coax do the rest.

your best option is to get a sealed box sub like an Image Dynamic or Ground Zero or Infinity Reference and power it with a good 300W rms monoblock. Neither the bass link nor any of it's peers nor any 6x9s can compete with a good sub-amp combo. What you ahve to surrender is space.

if however retainign space is essential then a basslink (it has a built in amplifier) driven from channel 5 or 6 (whichever drives the sub) would provide lower bass than the a pair of 6x9s. You can obviously use both the 6x9s and a bass link and tune your system so that the bass link and 6x9s complement each other.

.....so basslink WITH existing 6x9 will sure improve vocal (singer realisation in cab) & also cut sharpness in music

1. The basslink + 6x9 combo will only affect the region between 30Hz nd say 100hz. In an indrect way it can help with your midrage as you can then cross your front components over at say 80Hz and they will be less stressed and better able to deal with the midrange (vocals).

2. The basslink and/or 6x9 do nothing to the sharpness of the music. For that you need to tune the sound using the EQ in your HU and/or amplifiers.

Either channel 5 or 6 I think it is Channel 5 with channel 6 being used for the center speaker.
