Tata have got a Toyota Hilux for Trial , but unfortunately the car met with an accident near Pune and it is not for repair in a Toyota Dealership in PUne

last evening we saw the TL 4x4. man- did it look awesome or what. it had a snorkel, and it had some awesome lights on top. it came with a standard 8000lbs winch, which was factory fitted. 4x4 on the fly and sunroof.
very comfortable seats.
asked the owner - how much - his response- 12L. WOW! But did it have a presence - yeah baby!

Looks like it has already been launched in international markets. They show it in the product list in the South African web-site.

I completely agree. It looks awsome. If they base the new Safari based on this, I think it will be a hit.

The guy claimed it was an export version that someone picked up in coorg & he has bought it from him. We saw this truck last night at a mini team-bhp meet. It sure looked awesome, much better than the photos in the TATA webpage.

That seemed to be a pretty positive review of the truck. But 19,000+ Euros for the 4wd 5 seat version?? Isnt that a bit too much ?

hey if it's export version than it has to be cheap, cause all the dealers and service center owner are given preference to damaged export vehicles , And the discount are huge.
only criteria is that the dealer who buys it can not sell it for at least 3 years. One can pick up safaris for as less as 3- 4 L.....
