hi guys i have some questions after going through this thread and reading the replies and photos.

are smoked tailights and headlights street legal in india?
has anyone been fined yet, if its not legal?

my personal view point is that smoked lights look good only on a black colour car and not other wise!

i really like the neat and clean look of the rear end of the cars after de-badging them. just retain the main OEM logo if some one wants to.

Yes ,but Imo even white cars look good with smoked lights.

Guys.. i read the complete thread, but couldnt find any idea to get rid of the stickers which the service centre and the company put on the car. I own a 1999 Hyundai Santro and want to get rid of the Shreenath Hyundai and Santro and zipdrive stickers from the car. But even if i try to get it done will it affect the paint or the best question would be, from where can i get it done.

I think ANY car looks good with smoked lights, though havent seen too many around. :D

@Param: Thanks for the pm which you sent. But the problem here is that the stickers are pasted on the body and not the glass. So i wanted some ideas as to what can be done to get rid of them, without hurting the paint.

What exact material is used in smoking the tail lamps?
i know its some kind of spray. is it similar to glass painting color available in the market?

also once you get the smoked tail lamps, is there any way to remove the black color and restore the original transparency as before ? afetr one gets tired of them or decides that they don't suit the car looks.
