This looks really very neat, though the car loses it identity.
It looks good on your car, as you seem to have a custom paint job, smoked lights etc, which add to the beauty
Would recommend doing this for all Mahindra Renaults
Folks, help needed. I removed the badges at the rear, this was done pretty easily but I am not able to remove the glue. I tried using diesel but the glue wont budge. Can you please advice what needs to be done?
meer just be a bit careful and scrap it off using some object. otherwise if you dont want to take chances, visit your local MASS.
petrol is the way to go. or use any perfume spray.
@whitevdi why he need to visit mass, is removing glue is such a tough job.

karan because he said he tried diesel and it dint work. removing glue and the tape is not that easy. its better to get it done properly for the faint hearted.
Thanks white_vdi - yes, removing with some object will be a time consuming process, so thought i will try and explore easier options :)
Thanks karan - i will try with perfume and petrol today. dont want to scratch or damage the part, so being a bit careful

Meer - Go easy with it. Please use soap and water generously everyday on the glue thats stuck on the car body. Dab it nicely and it will eventually come off.
You may use your fingernails with a cloth covering it.
But why do it this way when you can get rid of it using petrol or any light thinner which does not harm the color.

He has already tried using Diesel, which is the safest. Petrol can prove to be a not-so-good option.
Soap and water is the safest, in between you can also use diesel again but not all the time.

how will petrol harm if he uses it to clean the glue, and do diesel also harm if used again and again.
Ankit - Thanks a lot for the advice.
Karan - didnt want to use diesel / petrol / kerosene as many folks advised that these may harm the paint. Also, the smell would have remained forever on me :)
I was finally able to make it squeaky clean, my fingers/arms are still paining, but the job is done. Yesterday evening, had to spend 30 mins to get rid of the glue. Used Perfume (half bottle) and aggressive rubbing to remove it. Perfume was of no use, so no tears shed for that.
Once I got rid of the glue, I applied Formula 1 scratch out, just to ensure that there is evenness on the surface and finished it off with Formula 1 wax.
Saw the results in the morning and everything is done perfectly, as if there was nothing there in the first place.
End Result - I am happy with the efforts, the car rear looks just the way I wanted it.
