Beautiful! One of the most elegant tigresses from Tadoba, if I am not mistaken. What's the dark secret? Sibling cannibalization?

She is the one who killed and ate a human - leaving just a piece of leg for cremation- last year. Got the inside info when I was in Tadoba.

Re: The Official non-auto Image thread

My friend's son was modelling for some amateur video commercial at my office today. I had never before shot with professional lighting setup. So I decided to shoot some snaps with my OMD EM5 + 45mm lens. There was a video light bouncing from the white ceiling and a diffused umbrella light from the left side. I shot this in raw, opened in CS4 and merely resized before saving it. I have done no other PP. See in full size.

Re: The Official non-auto Image thread

When I showed the above photo to a young colleague, he wished that the guy was smiling. I was stunned at first, and then realised he is unable to see it, just like many people who can't see the smile unless it is plastered on the face.

The above photo is the last one of the 5 shots I took. In the first 3 he was trying to smile hard, so I asked him to stop smiling. The 4th one was serious, then I asked him to lighten a bit, and he gave the above expression.

Therefore, I showed the 4th shot to young colleague and then showed the last shot again. Now it was his turn to be stunned. He could see the smile now. I asked him to find where the smile was... and after looking at the photo carefully, he replied it was in the eyes.

Exactly... many people primarily smile through their eyes. I am one of them. Unfortunately, lots of people are unable to read such a smile. Therefore, eye-smilers like me have to constantly face comments on our photos like...

Where is the smile?
Why can't you smile?
Smile please...
...
...

Next time you have a so called "smile comment" on a photograph, please look at the eyes and make better judgment. - A Frequent Victim.

Keep the aspect ratio same, reduce the pixel size. Image size comes down. If you are on Aperture, you can also use an export plugin which will re-size image.

Re: The Official non-auto Image thread

I till now use the inbuilt feature in Preview. It works well to reduce the size but destroys the image quality.

I use Lightroom to process my RAW images and while being ‘exported” they get down-sized with no visual damage to image quality.

Cross-posting a picture shot with my basic D3100.

I don't use the kit lens. Shot with Sigma 150-500, handheld.
