Just waiting for tomorrow when they uncover the pricing.

Nope it wont, this being a crop sensor wont be priced anywhere near those full frames. Might touch 2000 just for adding 1D X AF system. Almost everything else comes from 70D (minus swivel LCD)

I really hope it stays that way. The other thought is, Canon may also announce updates to FF or new FF bodies to counter the Nikon FF onslaught and they are priced at that range. In that case 7D-II stays below 2000.

Just as mentioned previously, body only has been priced at $1799

Nice shots, did you post process to achieve that look of sky? if yes then can you provide the details. I never manage to retain the sky details. I try HDR but they turn ugly

Very good shots, like the composition of all shots.

All editing done in LR on RAW file. Usually play with S curve adjustment with saturation bump, and selective colour bump in LR3.2.

Spot on Amp :)
The picture was taken at "Anayirangal", on the beautiful Munnar- Poopara stretch. Surprisingly,it was completely dried up even in early July this year.
