I guess, unless you are selling in lakhs, you can offset your sale with the cost of your gear and also cost of your hotel stays etc., for the trip!

Secondly, even if your buyer is in India,it does not matter. For example, if payment is from 500px, which is a USA entity, it does not matter where is the end buyer sitting. You just sold to 500px!

Thanks Samurai.

First digital download (sale) of a photo from 500px happened yesterday. Tiny start.

If someday photography can start paying for my trips and gear, I will be happy. :)

Congrats!

First attempt at a composite, CC welcome.

Nicely done!

You've taken care of the reflections well, but do also look into adding shadows (which are missing for the little lady).

Some random shots taken a few weeks back. There are Gulmohar flowers and the building of my engineering college in Pune (M.I.T).

Very nice shot, love the colours.

A shot from Satpura National Park. I was staying at a forest rest house, which one reaches after 40km of offroading. Took the Fortuner out for a morning safari on the forest trails. That is when this photo was taken.

Thanks! jkdas. I shot three different exposures and blended them using photoshop. Here's a very simple tutorial.

Thanks! Rehaan. Yeah I tried to create shadows (using drop shadow) but was not very successful, will work on that technique for future.

Mother lode of cuteness! Please post some more snaps. I just love their unique facial expressions.
