Yes, a Spider. Sitting in carrot flower. Bugger sure has patience. The arachnid sitting hunched with 2 pairs of legs in the front, and waiting for it's prey.

Found this chap early one morning on the car's headlamp. No idea which bug, but lovely coloring.

Googled a bit and with great reluctance opened the wikipedia page which I mostly like to avoid! Turns out, they range in size from 0.8 to 18 mm. The one in the picture appears to be of the order of 3 or so mm - give or take another mm.

Although I'm no entomologist, I think it'd pass for a ladybug!
