@kvish - thanks ! And yeah .. it sure is a happening backyard. Just after i posted this pic, there was a gang of langurs ( 18, i was told ) lounging around in there. My bad luck, that i went out for a smoke.

@guyonblackybx - thanks buddy. I use a Nikon D80 + Nikkor 70-300. Had to climb on the compound wall to capture this

Today's contribution :

clicked on my site a few days back, with SE K790i. Did a bit of editing to remove the over exposed part.. but it hampered the overall pic. So left it as it is.

Even this one is clicked on site with SE K790i..

Leaving your mark.. permanently !

Its a cat's pugmark in concrete, btw.

You got pretty close to your subject in the first pic.

No Doubt K790i is a fabulous phone.

We cannot play around with the DOF in Picasa like photoshop blur. I miss that tool in Picasa. The lens gave out really good background blur at telephoto.

Redcandle, if the background of this image has not been photoshopped, I am interested to know how you got it.

Hi,
The only changes I have made to the photo is cropping. The background is actually the underarea of a heavy-leafed tree. So was kind of lucky. Besides had a fast shutter speed and hence lack of light.

None of the above pictures have been photo-shopped.

Cheers

The bird looks nice with the background, Try sharpening the image a little. Bird will really stand out.
