Green Bee-Eater

This shot is from Nagarhole Reserve. We noticed this birdie coming back to the same perch after each hunting session (A common Behavior of all Bee-Eaters). Locked the focus on perch and asked my friend to let me know whenever its started flying back, so that i can start clicking. Took around 60 images to capture this action :-)

Sreeraj, your captures are really good. But, do you oversharpen your images intentionally? Personally I would prefer wee bit softer than this.

That is an awesome shot. Was your camera on a tripod focussed on the tree branch?

Thanks deep_bang, No it was not on a tripod. I was sitting behind a MM540 and my lens was resting on a bean bag supported by back bench seat

You So, so, right RJ, I checked a good portion of this thread one night and by the end forgot that this was part of an automobile forum, and to realise that these photographers are passionate Car lovers as much as they trip on cameras and it's output. Cheers to all on TBHP who click these. cheers:
Great Job, High standard, and the best part constant flow of great shots.
