took this yesterday night from the terrace with out using a tripod.

took this image with using my Polaroid polarized eye gear (no photo shop job done):

wow, i will need at least a camera for this. lol:

Sorry i meant to say, i used the eye gear as a filter in front of the camera. The camera used was Fuji FinePix S5100. :)

@TG- you must be on your hands and knees in the bushes most of the time, looking at the macros you keep posting.:D

I am still experimenting, these are just a few try out shots.
Its a model car so I have posted it in this thread, hope its ok with the mods.

Well guys, easy on poor me huh! Well I am addicted to taking macros these days, donno why...and you are so right about me goin into the bushes and crevices most of the time, haha.

TG, even macros need composition, I don't see that in your images. I don't shoot macros much since I find composition very challenging. There is this member called Image in PAAI who is a guru in macro composition.

With a small sensored P&S camera with macro mode, it is quite easy to get very sharp and astoundingly deep DOF shots. So there is a tendency to get impressed by the technicals. Problem with macros is exact this, most people miss the forest for the trees. But you have to start looking beyond just the technical merits. I stopped shooting macros after some real macro experts started pointing out lack of compostion in my shots. I find the macro composition most challenging and too time consuming. I've heard there is no other way. There have been days when I have shot 100 and then deleted all the 100 shots. This is besides the fact that I have one of the sharpest macro lenses (Zuiko 50mm F/2) ever made. So, I am just keeping off macros for now.
