.....Not getting an idea how the original in 100% mode shows this distorted file. It is a clean pic opened in irfanview though.
Hi Shajufx & clevermax,
As mentioned before in this thread - the uploaded images are re-compressed on the server when in thumbnail form, and for the original (larger pics / pics on which the watermark shows) the watermark overlay causes some compression as well.
Gurus, can i get a few tips on how to go about clicking photographs of Large Corporate Buildings. This is for a freelance website/brouchure designer to depict his work. My friend's a beginner and he cant afford to hire a professional photographer. However he's got the chance to borrow a D60 with 18-55 Lens and wants to make use of it.
If all goes well and i can help him in this regard, then it would help me get him contracts with many real estate developers for their brochures.
cheers in advance. This thread amazes me quite frankly :-).There's no place better for me fire away my query.
Spent a lovely weekend at Karapur Forest range near the banks of kabini. Idea was to shoot a silhouette , but then ended up shooting black and white off the camera. Added a touch of sepia to it from Picasa.
Here is my first shot of birding !!
After many days of waiting, this pigeon has agreed to come and sit out of my window, so I didnt have to cry more about my limited 55-200 lens. I think, your lens does not matter if you can lovingly communicate with the birds around successfully ! But he allowed me only a quick portrait, which I had to manage without legs and tail ! Focal length 102mm.
Riju and Mukul, the coloured water drops are for You
I tried Macros with reversed-lens approach and they came very well considering this is my first try. Made an adapter ring using old body cap and UV filter - cut out the body cap and mated the UV filter with super-glue. Cost 10Rs for the cutting.
Edit: Still learning to understand and play with the limited DOF (almost non-existent), and not having control over aperture/auto-focus. Tips please.
