just wanted to know if i did any over/under exposure or did some highlighting problem.

its a stock photo, just auto corrected in microsoft photo manager and resized it. so just thought i may have not done good.

LOL, everybody seems to notice it nowadays. Let's just say that I am one of those lucky few who lose weight when they stop working out (which has been the case ever since my first child was born). And I am loving it :D. don't feel breathless anymore after climbing three floors.

The second one here is a shot from the top of a dam earlier today. Looking down at some humongous fish (it must have been at least 50 ft down).

Man the skies were beautiful out there but I had no idea what I need to do. So the first is a shot of the dam from some distance. I wanted to get the sky and the dam and the reflection of the beautiful masonic structure in the water and make it all look nice and colourful but really struggled with the composition. Also, I din't have any time at all to plan my shots. Some suggestions please on how I could have made the first shot better.

Chevelle, the colours there are to die for... Im a big fan of those.

Here's one from my side... was waiting to get a symmetrical shot but then clicked in fear of losing the shot altogether.

It will be more perfect if there was no stone/land at that spot and birds were standing in water. Then two birds with their reflection would be more fun to see.

EDIT: Aarrggh!! The neatness of the shot is destroyed by the jpeg compression at the server. Look at those jpeg artifacts around the flowers.

a multiple exposure combined in PS. A lot to be improved, the exposures were too long with trees and plants moving in the frame (some of the exposures were 20 and more)

I liked the flowers outside our bedroom window. Decided to make an HDR. The exposure blend script in GIMP sucks, so decide to do it manually.

The soft glow is a futile attempt to hide the imperfections in exposure blending. I am still trying to improve it. HDR gurus, any tips? I think I should not use 100% opacity while applying layers. Still have to learn masking etc.



suggestions, do blinds, fan add to the character? I haven't processed them yet.




I tried close up but it highlights the insect screen which I was not able to take out.

During a short evening walk , came across some grass plants beautifully swaying to the breeze.Wanted to capture sunset through them and this is what that came out:

Thanks man. And that would have been worth the wait, even if you ended up losing the shot you got, since a symmetrical one would have been down right awesome!

Lucky you! Well opacity dpends on where you are working with th emultiple exposures. But yes generally i leave them at 100%.

What kind of tone mapping in ps?

A recent one when I visited the San Francisco Zoo, They have peacocks running loose all over the place!
