TG,

Amazing shots of diving Pelicans, just cant expect anything less from you.

Discobiscuit,

Great shots of colourful still life.

Jimmy iaf,

Very dramatic shot of the sunrise, was it shot from an aircraft?

Clevermax,

Awesome pp of the Neuschwenstien castle.

My contribution from a heritage site in Hyderabad, "The Qutubshahi Tombs".

@fazaladil
Thanks man, much appreciated. YOu could work on your composition for the above shots a bit.

I had a wonderful encounter with a sea lion on the beach yesterday. Crawling on the beach, I got within 10-12 feet of this wild sea lion. Was a mind blowing experience. Apart from the occasional grunt, he didnt seem to mind my presence at all. But I was really slow in my approach and did not make any alarming movement. These guys weigh over a tonne and can be quite intimidating. Clicked this as he was looking right into my lens. A moment I will never forget.

true that.

the picture was taken in a small town called Vlissingen in Holland. Practically every hotel was full, every camping site was over packed and not a single parking spot left in that town. It was just a perfect day for the beach and I'm pretty sure they don't get enough of those kinda days in a year

its shocking how close those huge ships are to the coast

Thanks Fazal - they are indeed from the air - to be specific, over the Atlantic, between NYC and London.
Nice shots of Qutab Shahi - most people would end up at Golconda with the sound and light show - was it by Amitabh Bachchan?

TG, I wish you had used the fill-flash to illuminate the face & eyes. It would have made the photograph simply mindblowing.

@Jimmy: You're right. it is Neuschwanstein castle.
@Fazal: Thanks for liking my PP on the castle pic.
@TG: Nice composition. Was that staged or natural? I'd use a narrower aperture to get some sea also in focus.

@Clevermax.
I would not use the narrow aperture since I want the depth to be there.
@gd1418
Err flash on a sea lion would be so inhuman! It surely will disturb the animal. I wouldn't do that

and to add to it, it might be posted here as TG's last capture .

not sure if you know, but in most national parks the allowed limit is 50 feet (or more if it disturbs them) for wildlife. you will be breaking the law if you disturb them.

Yes, true. I was not disturbing them in anyway though. I did not alarm the animal, taunt it nor use a bright flash
