:) The picture is not heavily processed as u might think. It was one of those yellow evenings, plus i had put the white balance on the warmer side. I really like the image, infact love it!

Another one from the evening...this time along exposure of 30 seconds

may be that's the problem :). We are used to seeing masterpieces from you.

I know evening sun is very difficult to handle. here is one from our tip to the beach where I just couldn't get the image right.

Am back, looks like I missed lot of action around here.

Here are couple on shots which I managed to take in recent times.

Camera: Canon 400D
Lens: 18-55 Kit lens reversed.

Did a lill of post processing to get the correct color.

2nd one got lill blurred due to camera shake.

TG, Hope you have choosen photography as your profession because you just cannot go wrong with that. Goodluck and i am sure you will be a huge success:thumbs up

TG,

Man, that's one heck of a shot. Awesome photograph. Love the way evening fades and night sets in and the composition is perfect. Very very nice.

Looks like you had lot of fun in kerala ! The angle of the photo forces me to imagine lot of things! Hope you didnt have some 'strong kerala soda' before getting under that tree, unable to do anything but press a camera button in an hour's time:uncontrol. Went through your travelogue and those leeches have been imprinted in my memory for long !

@guyonblackybx

@Deky
Could you post the original?

@technocrat
Thank you.

@mobike
I am doing a lil bit of freelance stuff in photography...but nothing big, since technically I m a student here :Frustrati

@Hellwrath
It was almost black, the beach..I was surprised to get so many colors as well!

@Vivek
I haven't clicked any masterpieces! That is for the masters to do...hehe not me :)
I find the evening sun the easiest to handle, In fact i love that sideways light...especially while shooting people. I feel its just a matter of getting the angle right...

You just made my day!

Hey TG lovely shots. So you took your first medium exposure(sorry I won't call your 30 second exposure long).
you already have a remote release, where is that 20 minute exposure buddy!?

@TSK
Patience is a virtue ;) haha

The effect of DOF on these beach shots is stunning.

speaking of evening shots and portraits, this is taken from sony W810i. Have done heavy noise reduction and color manipulation.

sigh, summer is almost over.
