Thanks guys. The reason for no trails in the last 3 shots is that they were 100 second exposures with a 10mm lens. So you can just make out the beginning of a trail.
And guess what I used ISO 1600! And then pulled up the exposure of RAW image. No external noise reduction tool used, just Canon's DPP. Cold temp, and the low pixel density of 350D ensures clean ISO 1600
TG, with your FF cam we could have taken a 70 second ISO 3200 or 6400 shot, and got a more brilliant image!
@tsk
I will definitely inform you before hand the next time i land in India, we have to go to Ladakh together for sure!
For me
For the black and white haters ;)

I liked the color one here. B&W goes well with a monument or portraits rit?
Here's my experiments on B&W, i know it wont be comparable with any of your shots.

Very nice subject for an HDR.
Pramod
Lots of perfect shots all over this place. I have been too tied up with work, could not pamper my hobby for couple of weeks, eagerly waiting for this weekend. Meanwhile I am concentrating more on single strobe (flash bouncing and remote flash) experiments. Here is one taken an hour back. Something is seriously missing, I am not able to figure out.
Set up: Single thick white towel as the backdrop and bottom, flash from right in full power, 1 feet from the subject, slightly angled to bounce off the backdrop. I didnt want the bottom reflection, may be I should try a black granite to avoid this ?
HW, will a soft box improve this image ?

Very beautiful images in the last few pages.
Hats off to all of you...!!
Here is one from me...the image is highly doctored, please let me know what you think...
A friend...

Definitely. This one was a test shot in a soft-box, with low LED lighting and not even a flash.
@preeetam: That's ad stuff ;)
@pramod: Nice processing
Here's one from my side. Shot en route to Sabarimala.
Tea Break with a view

This image was shot couple of years back in B&W mode itself, I was a baby to use my new cam then. Now I'm a school kid in photography, still HDR is alian to me.
BTW nice shot of the light tower. Where is it?

Its worth a royalty from Rayban :).
I think the white line above him diverts the attention, it can be gray or some dull color.
Guys, NDTV is running a photography compition and the theme is "Monsoon". The photo of the day will be aired daily on NDTV and the over all winner gets a Toyota car.
I could not get the web address where the photos have to be posted and I tried googling the address but in vain.
So if someone finds the web address please do so. Wish one of the regular here wins the car.
Regards & Good Luck
