That's a neat composition Lucksin. I'm finding it very hard to believe that you took that one using a point and shoot cam. I never get those kinda quality night shots from my point and shoot.(Yup, I've a shaky hand)

Btw, did you use a tripod?

Samurai : The clouds and the sky looks awesome with those lovely addictive tones of orange scattered here and there. Beautifully composed :)

Nandan : Interesting shot. Btw, I'm unable to recognize the inhabitants of that house! :(

Amith,
Thank you. And trust me bro, your photographs from P&S are mind blowing. I love the details. Are you zooming in completely and shooting? Try that, you might get a slightly smoother bg. But I am not complaining! :)

The clouds in bangalore these days are very picturesque. Where's this place?

Some from butterfly photo walk I had on sunday. I was so busy concentrating on other things that I messed up and cut the last one's wing :(.

@Hellwrath: nice details on the 3rd Shot. awesome colors.!!

Thank You HW! I'm glad that you liked my pics. Naah, i don't zoom in and shoot while taking macro shos.I hate to do that, because it's pretty difficult to focus when i zoom in. So obviously, i go near the subject and shoot. Yes, usually there will be a distance of 3-6 cm b/w the lens and the subject :D

Anyway, I will try out your suggestion. Feel free to criticize my pics brother, your comments and critics really helps me to click better pics next time.

You've got brilliant stuffs there brother. Personally, i liked the first one.I wish that you had captured the wing of the last butterfly. Never mind, the details there are mind-blowing. Both the pictures are really colorful too. :)

Needless to say, the floral abstract(?)looks awesome.Correct me if i'm wrong.

Third shot is super, though complete wing would be the best.

Its a sharp shot, still not able to accept its coming from a P&S. Please check your camera again, try if you can remove the lens part (at your own risk) ? How long you are going to trace this poor fellow ?:)

This is what happens when you go alone without calling me :)!! I know what could be the 'distractions' in Lalbagh early morning. So, please stop 'concentrating' on 'other' things and shoot only through the viewfinder !! Btw, I would chose the first one as my favourite.

Yes, looking at your work, its easy to understand that point. I am trying my luck to see if machine can outdo the man behind !

My single strobe experiments have begun. Flash in full power on the right, 2 meters away from the camera. 35mm, f/1.8, 1/30 secs, strangely ISO details are missing in the exif data for the complete set, its very weird !

Great shot. Except for that line which crosses through the center of the pic.
