My vote for the 'Man', hope your walk was enjoyable with 50 people around, or was it more than that ? I was hoping for the waiting list to approve me, but there was no luck !! Next time, please let me know before time, although I am not very keen on walking with a group !

Thanks Shaju, I have uploaded the man's photograph as my entry. The turn out was pretty good, about 30. Walking with a group is fun, get to learn a lot from different people. I enjoy it at times. Quote:

Great job with the recent string of photographs. The quality of photography being showcased here is on a steep rise! Very healthy signs!
@Hellwrath
The man's shot is better. The second one that is.
But I have critique. You could have framed it better. With a little more balance. The image is too close and he is cramped into the frame. His smile and mood shows happiness...Happiness is not supposed to be cramped within in a tiny space. It should have freedom to be spread. There must be more space around him. Next time make cleverer use of negative space. Attachment 393799

Wow TG, thank you for that. Never thought of it that way, as in restraining happiness etc. One more dimension to the composition, space for emotions. That's why we should have professionals leading us to the light (literally!) . Quote:

That's one heck of a shot. High FPS with lovely glass, ah, photorgasm. Quote:

This shot is taken at f/36. Levels are adjusted a bit to make the fungus really visible. The previous shot (shipyard) was taken at f/9 or so and the fungus isn't appearing that sharp. All the other dark spots are also some dust on the sensor, except the boomerang shaped one on the right. Attachment 394462
Not only in pictures, but it is directly visible when I put the cam in cleaning mode as well. |
I have had fungus on my sensor before, luckily the canon service centre did a good job of removing it. It's best to send it to the service centre for this, the regular methods of cleaning the sensor might not work. Quote:
