Good shots of the flowers there. Here is a flower from my side, an orange Hibiscus(known as Chembarathi in malayalam) from my garden. The Official non-auto Image thread-teambhp-nonauto-image-thread3.jpg

So many beautiful flowers here! Agree with rjstyles69. Shaju's second shot takes my vote.

One shot with the opposite mood from the bright and cheery flowers here...

Did it rain because i'm sad?

EDIT: Is it just me, or does anyone else feel their pics dont come well when uploaded in tbhp. Compared to flickr/ facebook for that matter? The 1st pic was uploaded from FB, second one from flickr. There seems to be huge difference in quality. Looks fine in FB though!

nandan; the green guy looks cute

pramod! do find me too a lens and your portraits are not sharp ?

clever: nice one. The Napier one, is it just me? the building and foreground got some ps job and hence look a bit artificial?

@ shaju: when's new cam coming or you got it already?

@ blackasta: loved the pic.

Let me see if i come across something, and the potraits uploaded so far are all from the kit lens, i am yet to use my 50 mm prime, as of now i am still exploring the sweet spot on it.

As far as i remember it came that way in RAW, he might have improved the dynamic range a bit but technically speaking its a great pic.

Thanks jk! As you can see from the file name, it is an HDR of 4 individual shots... I didn't do any PS job specifically on any portions of the image - HDR processed in Photomatix and adjusted the colors bit more in PS. It may be appearing so because of the overall smoothing value setting (one below max) and the micro smoothing values I chose..

I am temporarily happy with the D90 that was added to the bag a month back, no more cropped sensors if at all I plan to upgrade at a later stage.

Dotted all over !
