Great job with the recent string of photographs. The quality of photography being showcased here is on a steep rise! Very healthy signs!

The man's shot is better. The second one that is.

But I have critique. You could have framed it better. With a little more balance. The image is too close and he is cramped into the frame. His smile and mood shows happiness...Happiness is not supposed to be cramped within in a tiny space. It should have freedom to be spread. There must be more space around him. Next time make cleverer use of negative space.

Nikon D3S, thats an expensive gadgets. What lense you have used, is it Prime or normal zoom lense.

Also if you could share the detail for the shot Infinity G35 that you have posted on Auto-Image thread, the lense, camera and EXIF. I want to learn.

One thing I wanted to ask you since few days, how is your pic resolution exact square, not the rectangle type (as majority of the pics posted here) ? Is it something to do with your resizing part ?

By looking at the EXIF, it must be his 70-200 f/2.8 lens, Right TG?

Rajesh, the flower shots are looking just plane-jane. The rose isn't focused well too. For such shots to be nice, you need to pay very good attention to how you compose the shot, and it will be good if you take it with a P&S camera / lens which can offer you a shallower DOF, so that you can blur out the background more.

The sunset shot is looking much better compared to the flower shots.

Rajesh, the flower shots are looking just plane-jane. The rose isn't focused well too. For such shots to be nice, you need to pay very good attention to how you compose the shot, and it will be good if you take it with a P&S camera / lens which can offer you a shallower DOF, so that you can blur out the background more.

Thanks Clevermax for the tip. How can i make best use of this P&S cam ( Sony DSC T-70) ? I am still on the learning mode, so still a looong way to go..obviously with only a 3x optical zoom, the landscape / panaromic shots will have to be shelved, but can you advise me on how to take good close up shots ( like flowers / objects) ?

Since you don't have an aperture priority mode in that, only thing you can do is to zoom to 3x and frame the subject with background preferably not too close to the subject..

And why do you have to refrain from landscape shots since you only have 3x? Most of the landscape shots are taken at widest angles (lowest zoom) right?

Will the macro mode help in taking pics of flowers? Being an armature not sure of its possibilities. Just use the macro function for shooting very close shots like the one posted by Kpzen.

Pramod, I think it was some dirt on the outer glass of the lens, at least I hope so. Need to check the sensor - It had fungus growth earlier. But if sensor has fungus, it would appear more sharp in these kind of narrow aperture shots.
