Wow, very happy to know you have something placed with the 'big guns' :), somehow your image was not there where I saw them National Geographic's Photography Contest 2010 - The Big Picture - Boston.com

There is a story behind every image, yours is not different at all. I doubt if I can pinpoint atleast one such image from my whole collection over the last 1 year ! Thanks for the inspiration, I will start digging my hard drive :thumbs up

shajufx,
Not yet entered the contest, but may go ahead with this one in all probability, because of the depth of relationship behind it.
Regards,

Trial shot with 28mm f2.8 nikon mount AI lens mounted on my Canon 40D :D

EXIF is something like
1/6000
ISO 800

If in not mistaken 28mm on 1.6 crop would be in the range of 55mm FF ?

Lots of artifacts as I just converted RAW->JPG and save for web

Wonderful , It is beauty of canon EF-S mount that you can get convertor for all good old lenses like Pentax , Zeius , Nikon except Canon FD

Post some more daylight shots , Where you bought the mount converter and how much you payed for lens?

Speed matters ! (its the sunset reflection on water)

Very nice compo buddy. Would be even better if you have adjusted the horizon.

Step out of the house and check its potential, you will be blown out and I guarantee, you wont change this lens from your cam.

Not sure if my photos qualify to be posted here. The efforts are using a meager 2MP N72 mobile phone so not much of controls....
