great you liked the test , The reason I had so less sharp shots was that as soon as Kneel to take some flower shot junior used to climb on my back to check the viewfinder and without tripod you can imagine how hard it is to do manual focus of flying bugs and butterflies.

Yeah no one has that lens because they stopped making it 35 -40 years ago lol: there is an animated discussion on DSLR thread

In the Solitude pic IMHO you should have given more coverage to the silhouette in composition.
