Returning after a long time, didn't have anything worthy so far to post.
Used a 3-stop ND, taken early morning. I was at this lake hoping to catch a sunrise, but guess nature had other plans. Weather was overcast and there was no sunrise as such! :(

The white balance is wrong, have it corrected, the horizon must be aligned as well.
Pramod
Lovely Heron shot Aravind.
Morning!
Evening!

God! beautiful pix people! Ought to sit up and check the rest!
Can I suggest that you also mention EXIF data please?
Cat nap disturbed! f8, 1/100, ISO 200. Untouched.
ShajuFX: Good snap! Do not see much on Flickr. Do you still post there?
C300: That Takumar has been put to good use. The first of your landscape shots is awesome!
DryIce: The bridge should have been in the center, imho. But I love the feel to the image.
BlueVolt: I agree with Pramond on the alignment of the horizon, but somehow the sepia cast downplays it. The photograph looks more like one from WWII taken from another ship. Nice.
v&v: Is Kashmir back to normal? Those sunrays seem to suggest it.
arvind: Lovely heron portrait. Is it a night shot?
jkdas: That cat portrait draws you in for a second look. :)
I like that heron shot. Nice click Aravind!
Hey C300! Nice clicks, what is the location?

Hey Freakmuzik! I like the one with the green texture and leaf ( green is my favorite color, and i love nature ), and also the one with the withered leaf.
@arvindmanju: Awesome lighting!!
@C300: Liked the second shot.
@freakmuzik: Loved the second leaf shot!
@typeOnegative: Thanks man! Well there was no place to move right anymore, I was already at the edge. :p

Thank you!! it was taken in the morning, the bird was resting under the tree and sunlight directly falling on the subject.
I have increased the contrast in post processing.

Thanks for the support! I'm just a beginner. Those shots were clicked using my Kodak Easyshare V803 cam. Hoping to buy a new one when I get some moolah! lol:
