Damn, I have never seen a peacock with all its feathers open like that. And I have hundreds of peacocks near and around my office. I gotta see this someday.

Samurai,

Very common during the monsoon in your region, be on the look out. The first time I saw this was in manipal about 8 years back. Was at a friend's place, sipping tea in his balcony (his home is opposite to the Syndicate Institute of Bank Management) and it was drizzling. Outta nowhere a peacock pops out, and does this dance in the SIBM compound. Have been pestering my friend to sell his home to me ever since that happened. :D

Try at times when it is about to rain.

Looking out towards the Andaman...

Those peacock shots are amazingly cool!!! Really enjoyed them!

One more from the Sea Otters Classic Biking race.

Brilliant ones TG and S0uljah !

TG - i love the series of "flags/markers" or whatever they are called going off into the distance, along with the unsettled dust!

I've been to Innsbruck... its a beautiful place....!

Posting some pics from my Canon S3IS taken on a gloomy day this week when it was raining all through a fortnight without a respite. These are untouched just off the camera except for reduction in size.

Do let me know how are these

Cheers

@Rehaan
Thanks dude.

I am in love with the 50mm f 1.8 lens! A few shots from it.

@TG: The shots with the 50mm F1.8 are amazingly sharp!

One of my old shots. Taken with a P&S Canon S3IS. PP'ed to give the moon its own unique texture from another image. I like the noise in this pic.

@fountainheader
That second shot, well its heavenly!

@Clevermax
Yeah, it really is a bang for the buck lens! Generally many look upon it as a portrait and creative lens( because of the bokehs it produces) but I think you can push it to other horizons with respectable results!
