This page is taken over by the masters from Bangalore, Assam, Washington and San Francisco ! I dare not post anything more until the dust settles down :)

Your wish is my command sire. Oh, btw, you're right about Washington State, doubt anyone is still in SF :D.

I have seen this gentleman somewhere before, but can't seem to re-collect. Please help refresh my memory.

I have been in the same situation since a year, but now I am getting myself to post process atleast two images so that I can catch up on all the backlog from one year.

Ok, so here are some more fall colors that I have shot at Serena Rocks trail in West Virginia. All of these have been shot with the Lester Dine 105mm on a G1. C&C please.

I know master from SF was carried away to Seattle by some underwater current (because he was doing too much of aqua stuff), let him clarify if he prefers to do so. Memory failure before marriage is a not a good sign dear, anyway that's Dr.Venkat who helped us to catch those crocodiles live in one of our trips, now you remember ? I really miss those days man, come back !!!

You are talking about backlogs, I am processing my D60 images these days, nothing worse than that. Each time I open the old files, I find something interesting to process :)

Master? Guys, I'm just still learning but thanks a lot for all these appreciations. Gotta work hard this weekend to post atleast a few more. I'm loving monochromes BTW :D

@Samurai San/Hellwrath/shaju, same here, me too was so lazy for last one year that so many of my photographs are just resting in the Hard drives. It was just getting piling up and I'm actually kind of scared to have a look at the backlogs now. But Ladakh photographs are always something special and so started processing them at last.

@Shaju
I just completed my Masters in Fine Arts in Visual effects from the Academy of Art University, Sf. Thats the only reason u can call me master.
I moved to Seattle on work, landed up with a job as an environment artist for Microsoft's Game studio, for the xbox360. My career just kickstarted! So underwater current is not the reason! :deadhorse

Some fun stuff. My buddy is a big fan of "Gears of War" Xbox game, so i made this quick photomod in Photoshop on an image we had clicked, just for fun and sent it across. Thought it's interesting hence posting it here.

Ha ha, memory failure because I haven't met him again and I have no photographs of his :(. Now I remember him, thanks for reminding me. I also remember how much you liked his lens ;). I'll be back, soon.

Thanks for sharing the latest info to the gang here, although I guessed it right through your Skype/FB status changes :) Btw, I have a friend who is with the xbox Bangalore office.

I have more than a dozen portraits of this gentleman and we almost fell in love with each other ! Yea it ended up swapping lenses and I immediately hated that decision. Imagine a 70-300 VR given for a 80-400 on D60 body that has no in-built focus motor !!!! I lost an hour of my creativity :D

Here is one from that day, underexposed.

Posting after a long long time on this thread. I must appreciate truly delightful photos posted in this thread. Here are some from mine, hoping you all like them.

TG, that's nice, now I also one of myself in MW2 gears :D
Shaju, that's killer shot. But the front neck portion got blown out..
Nice photographs there Extreme_torque, loved those evening photographs and specially the vertical compositions.

Here's one more monochrome of Ladakh, I'm seriously going nuts over Monochromes now. Gotta get them in prints soon too..

It's somewhere between Lamayuru and Mulbekh, most probably after Namika-La.

A few more from myside

Whoa! This thread has some serious pics. I am no photographer. Heck, I don't even have a camera. But still, let's see if my pic can even attempt to compare with any pic in this thread.

One of many peacocks at IIT Delhi

This photo was taken from my phone HTC Mozart. Used Powerpoint to shrink the image to get it from 2.5MB to 900kb.

Adding another monochrome to the list.

Brothers in arms!

@Torqueguru I just loved the way you use shadow and highlight along with perfect placement of subjects ( birds) . The amazing use of light made me an instant fan of your photographs.

@Rudra Sen : I always loved the magic you create everytime. With my limited knowledge I admire every element in your composition, tonal control and overall presentation.
