Thanks TG. Sunrise shots and sunset shots these days are colorful. Was lucky to grab the birds else the ride would have been a waste.

@Gajadonga - Nice theme. Line of Horizon rule would have improved the feel, you can get the same corrected in Photoshop easily (like the below posted image which was bit tilt and had to rotate few degrees ).

Beautiful Vembanad (Keralites would remember this location from Movie "Spadikam" where a fighting sequence is shot)

Thanks Das. You are right, it is Kumarakom. This is the egress from Kavanar to Vembanad lake near Kumarakom Boat Jetty.

Ha ha...this is shot from the upper deck of the below boat which gives the feel of being seen from elevated area

Thanks for the comment JK. I guess you meant to "lots" of unwanted stuff.

So what would have made this a better shot?

Re: The Official non-auto Image thread

Fanta ! Used the background-defocus effect of the camera at medium level.

Its come out nice. But I would prefer a little more bokeh (back ground defocus). And it would have looked better if the can had filled the frame a little more. The table and the back ground are a bit distracting IMO.
