Note the structure at the center, one on the left, one to the right & two in the back-ground. The lower part of each of these is stone, while upper part of each of these is bricks & mortar.

Apart from this, is a kind of gallery, open towards this. The first pic is a the view from this gallery. The gallery itself does not have any rooms above ground. Nearest major fort is Chitradurga, I guess.

Yeah was some crap on the lens . Never noticed it till I copied it to my comp. Condor thanks mate.

Not dust on your lens but on your sensor.
Use a good blower brush and follow sensor cleaning instruction from booklet.
