Ajay, per se, the experiments are nothing special.

You start the music in WMP. It has visualization and Alchemy is one of them. For this i used Mercy by Kanye West. The key is to take a music with good bass in order to enhance the visualization. These visualization is called Alchemy and so named it Alchemy Experiments.

I waited for the right moment to click photo. I used Samsung Galaxy S3 to test the image quality which i have to say did good. Later, I just cropped side portions that hide the power light and stuff.

Here are a few more. Hope you like it.

Honestly, I thought exactly the reverse. When I clicked one shot with normal exposure, I could not see much details, even though the background was bright and there was enough light. When I incremented the exposure to +1.7 EV, only then I could see some colours and some spikes on the creature.

Re: The Official non-auto Image thread

The silhoutte shot of the Jaswant Thada is pretty good. Nice composition. BTW, what lens did you use to click this? Because I see a hint of vignetting on the top left corner.

Do you have a panoramic shot of the Mehrangarh taken from the Jaswant Thada? If yes, then please post it here.

Thanks.

Thanks gd1418. Was experimenting with symmetry as opposed to the rule of thirds. I use a Canon EOS 550D and for this shot used the kit lens EF-S 18-55 f/3.5-5.6 IS. I am not sure if the vignetting is due to the lens - 18-55 is not known to cause noticeable vignetting, particularly since this was shot at f/11 at 28 mm. Some of the shots I took at that spot, I had my hand over the lens to prevent flare, though it is unlikely I would have done that for a shot that had the sun in the middle of the frame. This is the only explanation I can come up with, since I would have used my left hand to provide the shade.

I tried to get panoramic shots of the Mehrangarh fort from the road that climbs to Jaswant Thada, but it was not a clear day and hence didnt take any shots.
