It's not a real time multiplayer; it's called Time Shift Multiplayer. If you're connected to the net while playing RR3, then your scores are uploaded to the TSM leader boards, which your friends can see when they play the game and which they'll have to beat to to stay on top.

I'm playing RR3 from my new iPod touch!
Very addictive game

RR3 is good considering its a free game. What i love is that once you crash, you get a lot of repairs just like the real thing .

It's not real racing. It's more like Real Waiting 3.

Fix anything that is broken, and it takes up half a day for the repairs to be dine.
Buy any upgrade for a car that is slightly expensive, and get ready to see gray hairs on your head by the time the upgrade is applied. Oh, and if you have a few annoying friends, like I do, then no matter how you play or how many times you play, they will keep on beating you.

The only few things that are good about RR3, are the graphics, handling characteristics and the TSM concept.

How many cars do you have? The idea is to have 2-3 cars per category if not all. That way when one car is being repaired/serviced you still have other cars.

I'm now in 2 categories. In the beginners one I have the Focus RS with all upgrades, the Nissan Silvia, Dodge Challenger and BMW 1 series. The best handling ones are the BMW and the Focus. I use the Challenger as backup.

Also just got the Corvette ZR1, Ford GT and the Challenger R/T for fun.

Too many hacks are out there. Once you get access to all tracks and cars as well as infinite repairs and upgrades, you tend to lose interest and the game somehow becomes boring. Thats what happened to me and I deleted the game.

That's the catch,you will have to start all over again
I tried it out,but saved files of my previous games as well.

I agree,but then its human tendency to get bored of materialistic things after sometime,the good part having gold is that you do not have to wait for your car to be serviced,which was annoying.Then during the gameplay its your skill that matters not the money

yep; i had the said hack, but its no fun. victory is sweet when you've to work hard for it

uninstalled the game, re-installed it and started from scratch!

Why are you so slow dude.

My biggest problem is that I keep rear ending cars since I'm always quicker turning in and accelerating out.

Do you drive with driver aids or without? I have the brakes set to low and rest off.

i'm guessing you're taking the inside line when overtaking on corners; if yes, then when entering a corner if you think the guy in front of you isn't gonna let you pass or is gonna block you, tap the brake a bit. it's way better that ramming into someone and losing all the speed. another way is if you're coming in at high speed, two wheels on the chicane won't affect the speed much, but not all four. not only will this damage the car, but also slow you down.

i've noticed a big difference in playing the game in iPhone 4 and iPhone 5. the graphics is just too good on the iP5 and the game doesn't freeze up in between.

here's RR3 (the very first race in the Stock Challenge) on my iPhone 4 (just after turn 3):

Keeping Brake Assist set as High robs you of those vital seconds that you would need,i keep it off on slow cars and as low on fast one's
And yes its really difficult to avoid rear ending cars,at times i do it by choice to push the opponent out of my way
And i agree IronHWK,you are slow
