I tried with brakes off and I was always mowing the grass! With low brakes, it is always on the others persons tail lamp but does help in overtaking.

Was in full assist mode, but now trying with low brakes and end up with lot of damage; and while repair is going on, I get another race done with another vehicle.

That's the problem dude. All assists slow you down like crazy. Reduce all of them to low to start off with. You will see your times shoot up. Maybe then you won't be at the bottom always.

Go with low brakes. You will end up hitting the tail lamps but there's a way to avoid that to an extent.

1. Brake earlier and accelerate out of the corner.
2. Brake late but take the inside line with 2 wheels on the red/white kerb or take a wide line going in but turn in sharper and accelerate out before the guy in front. Traction control limits power when the wheels are turned and puts down full power only when you straighten out.

Yup; noticed this last night that the acceleration comes in only on straights.

And yes its really difficult to avoid rear ending cars,at times i do it by choice to push the opponent out of my way

i'll try removing the brake assist and see if i can shave off a few seconds here and there.

i've got just one race remaining to complete the Stock Challenge 100%! this is the one where you've to lap the cars and get extra seconds to cover maximum distance on the track.

however i try, i cannot get past 5.8mi!! you're ahead of me by 0.1mi and there is one guy (Stag something) with 7.5mi!! (he's a cheater.. hehe) hope removing the brake assists will improve the timings.

Keep the brake assist low,turn into a corner early,and once you are about to enter,tap the brakes repeatedly till you reach the mid,and then accelerate as you move out.At times i was losing again again with the assist on,turned it to low,and i seem to be faster than all,apart from one guy,an old friend,who is way toooooo fast

Yup trick it to get into the turns slow and then leave the brake early. remove brake and steering assists, both slow you down. and upgrade the car, makes a lot of difference :-)

I have the same problem, those rear hits just makes my car too slow. Besides which the car is damages and then there is the waiting for service. Dont feel like using the focus while I have the baby Beemer.

Focus RS is slow off the block but once it picks up speed it is faster than the Nissan Silvia,BMW 1M is the best when it comes to overall performance,its very nimble on the curves.

Tried couple of stunts last night and the best timings / results I am getting is with the fully upgraded BMW 1 series.

Sitting at 95% completion in the stock challenge.

Went into a meeting while playing this. forgot to turn the game off and while i was done with the meeting, i see the car parked on the grass. 10 repairs and loads of service ensured i went bankrupt

Bought a Corvette day before by paying 50 gold coins and yesterday when I log in I see that the car has disappeared . 50 coins down the drain. Grrr. In my cars owned history though I see 4 cars.

It is indeed a very addictive game. Have been playing the same over the last 3 months. Currently playing the V10 showdown with the R8 -thoroughly enjoyable!!
