Tested Speed - 179.6 kbps
Your ISP - Sify
ISP's Connection Speed - 256 kbps

The ZDNetIndia test site is terrible and inaccurate - shows 378.5 kbps on a 256 kbps BSNL DataOne connection!

Better use

http://www.bandwidthplace.com/speedtest/

http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/ (The better IMO)

Het Bro...Where are the actual results?

Here, I got a connection of 40000 kbits/sec but rarely been able to reach that speed. Average is somewhere between 150 kB/s to 200 kB/s. Sometimes, it is horribly slow (averages around 50 kB/s). While testing, the highest is 257.9 kB/s.

Tested Speed - 100 kbps
Connention - 154 Kpbs
Type - Reliance Wireless Air Card.

Try this link --> www.dslreports.com . It also includes smoke tests on your connection.

Here's another cool link to test your speed provided by Mcafee. No download or installation required, just click and a speedometer will show your speed.

Here's mine:

Ok Here's mine with Image
