The ZDNetIndia test site is terrible and inaccurate - shows 378.5 kbps on a 256 kbps BSNL DataOne connection!

Here, I got a connection of 40000 kbits/sec but rarely been able to reach that speed. Average is somewhere between 150 kB/s to 200 kB/s. Sometimes, it is horribly slow (averages around 50 kB/s). While testing, the highest is 257.9 kB/s.

Isnt 1 Kilobyte = 8 kilobits???

Speed: 256kbps
Data Limit: Unlimited!
Modem: Motorola, i believe, but cant see anything written on the modem as they got their sticker on it.
