I have an AMD 2800+ 754pins processor
with a gigabyte K8 trion motherboard,
half gigabyte hyundai hynix ram(DDR1),
80gb hdd barracuda,
8x LG dvd writer,
6600GT Nvidia video AGP card Zebronics,
samsung 17" crt 793s,
microsoft comfort curve Version 1.0 keyboard,
a microsoft optical ps/2 compatible and usb mouse,
phillips 110pmpo 800watts speakers and
a lexmark 1185multi purpose device, scanner-fax machine-copier and also a printer(inkjet).

the system is 3years old now planning to upgrade it to a P4 3.0ghz or higher processor and a motherboard that is 965 or higher series, at least 2gigs of ram(DDR), good graphics card which would fit into the latest 16X PCIxpress slot of the motherboard, a phillips 5.1 surround ones that are best buy currently... well a Lcd is no no for me....

can you tell me why you have these 3 drives? I have 3 too but i have kept only the DVD-RW in the system as it can do all the tasks that the other 2 can. These were only contributing to the heat in the system.
