Simple, I didn't have enough money to fill all the slots (16 Gb).

You may ask 'is it important?' My reply will be yes. Photoshop is memory hungry application and I often work with six to seven open files of 130 mb each.
Why this much of a processing power & ram ? Now i understand that you need this kind of setup for your profession. Cheers

Well as a matter of fact this morning I just purchased a pair of Corsair XMS SLI Ready 2 x 1GB DDR2 800mhz memory modules today online which would be shipped to my friend in New Jersey who's gonna bring it back to Calcutta next month along with him for me.
Also bought a MSI 8600GT card and once I get that card my "SLI" setup would be complete.
As far as the Zebronics 500W is concerned I dunno why people hate it but it still serving me with great vigour, surprising enough that with that 12cm huge LED fan its "absolutely silent" and I have no plans of replacing it immediately. btw I this system (stock) scored 9735 3dmark2005 points. guess that's gonna increase remarkably next month. keep you guys posted.

120mm Fans are usually silent. If one buys those monsters from Panaflo or NMB, then its another thing
My Silvy runs with only 1 80mm Fan & it sure is silent.Sometimes it amazes me as to how a puny 80mm fan can cool such a monster

Recently I changed from HP Presario to an iMac (upgraded the RAM to 1 GB with original Apple RAM) with Intel chip. It works like a dream. Best of all, it doesn't require anti-virus software. I am not quoting the configurations because it's meaningless comparing them with PCs.
But I can say, I can chat on the messenger while the machine converts my mini-DV tape into a DVD (one step operation) and I have three other windows open and iTunes plays Bob Marley - all at the same time.
I fully agree with what they say, "once you taste an apple, you don't go back to bananas".
By the way, no one buys Macs for their speed. They buy them for the software. The software in a Mac is like ten steps ahead of windows.

ps sorry, if i sounded a bit arrogant there. that's not my style.

So, Another one bites the dust! Eh??

I hate MACs and the reason for it is that I haven't used it much.
