Ultra > GTX > GTS 512 > GT.

But then again, for the resolution of 19inch monitor GT, GTS 512 should be enough. Also what games you have in mind?

is there a significant performance difference between the gt and the gts512.Because for the time being i will be running the games on a 15"lcd and will shift to a 17" lcd later on.Games will be fear,doom3,nfs prostreet, crysis.

In the first case you just need to plug the new one in - the motherboard BIOS will automatically recognize it. In the second case you'll need to clone your existing drive to the new one using software like Norton Ghost to create a mirror image. Then you can swap the drives and the new one will take over from the old disc with the same OS, files, installations etc.
Best software to clone? Acronis TrueImage. A stripped down version that can do basic cloning is available free as Seagate DiscWizard.

Thanks star and reign. will get back after trying this.

GTS 512 is not worth the money in India... especially considering the fact that the normal GT sells for 12k while the GTS 512 sells for close to 18k.

^^All 512MB buddy. The difference between the two is clock speeds and no of shader processors (112 in GT, 128 in GTS 512). The real world performance difference is under 10-15%.

pray that they are all up and running a year later. Razer mice are notorious for dying after a year- just when they're out of warranty. Happened to a quite a few people
