Guys,
have anyone purchased a digicam from LB? hows their service (delivery/ packaging etc)

I am bit skeptical about it as i haven't purchased any item above 9k through online before. so asking. How long it takes after ordering , to reach Bangalore.

response would be much appreciated.

Abhishek

I purchased Fujifilm S2950
Delivery time = Excellent
reached me on 3rd day even when i belong to a non-metro city.
pricing = Superb
packing = SOLID

Can anyone suggest me a good camera @10k and thereabouts. Not very well versed with cameras so, cant really describe with technicalities as to what i need.

Looking for a Superzoom digital camera with a max budget of 20k . I have shortlisted 3 of them. Would like to know which is the best of the lot.

Nikon Coolpix P500 : Rs.19,122

Sony Cybershot DSC-HX100V : Rs 20,947

Olympus SP 800UZ : Rs.15,199

I couldn't find one from Panasonic with the same spec in this price range.

Hi guys... i am planning to buy canon ixus 105. Has anyone used it here. How is the quality. It is for home use. Or do you suggest any other model in the same price range of about 6500 rs. Thanks..

I have IXUS 105.
If you want a basic camera, go for it. Don't expect anything more from it.
IMO the image clarity is better than Sony W310

I am also buying the same from ebay next week. Seems to be a capable camera, for its price. Best of all is the optical image stabilisation.

Any inputs from you?

Hi skdking. i went ahead and bought that 2 days ago, and was astonished with the clarity and ease of usage. It comes with a 1000mh battery, but i took about 260 shots, and the battery still shows full charge. amazing battery backup. Go ahead, you wont regret it. For how much are you getting it..?

Friends I recently purchased Sony HX100V from Sony Centre. It came with 4GB Class 4 SDHC card, a mini HDMi cable and a free carry bag. I want to know if I upgrade the SD card to 4GB class 10 will it provide any benefit?
And it is better to take image in 4:3 format or 16:9 format? Which format will look better on a 40" Sony Bravia LED TV?

agree:
Image stabilisation & battery backup are good in IXUS 105
My battery went dead after 370+ snaps (50% with flash)

Placed the order yesterday. For 6500/-. From ebay.

Have requested for black or silver colour. Let's see. From my extensive research on the web I can say with some certainty that it is likely to be a good buy.

I have a Panasonic FZ 50 too. An excellent camera. But a bit bulky.

This should be everything it is not. Small. And easy to use for women.

Rest on getting the delivery.

Hi Kartik! Sorry for the late reply. Your confusion is pretty easy to resolve. In case the budget is restricted, go for the SP800UZ otherwise the Sony HX100v for sure. Rule out the Nikon P500, simply because the features and quality is nowhere close to the Sony. The Sony's Image stabilization is unbelieveable, giving exceptionally sharp pictures even while using Digital Zoom, let alone Optical. The video is even better than their own Handycam & it has GPS, 50fps Video, Sweep Panorama, DSLR rivalling shutter speeds, 400+battery backup (as compared to around 200 shots in others), 3 years warranty, the list is endless.

Do clarify if you have any further doubts.:)

I agree Sony's battery backup is far good than the others in list. But believe me, P500's battery dies only after 320+ snaps (most of the snaps taken with 20x zoom)
