I use it.
It has all the features you have mentioned.
Search this thread for more info on the phone.
Also there is a thread dedicated to this phone on the forum.

Yeah, Manju's list of requirement was as if an ad of Asus P527. :)

But if you use all the features of the phone, keep battery life expectation a bit low.

Finally got a copy of HTC Sim Manager and that did the trick. I could have done this earlier with SLK's suggestion, but didn't want to install any 3rd party SW unless absolutely needed.

dude try this software :

Jeyo, Inc. - Jeyo Mobile Companion

it is to be installed on your PC and it allows you to view your phone details like SMS, Contacts [Phone and SIM], Call History etc.

and you can send SMS from the PC through this itself.

I was looking at some decent phones for my grandparents as their sony erricson went kaput - the requirements being a very basic camera phone. Finally ended up buying the nokia 5130 xpress music - after reading a lot of good reviews about it. Hope its a good choice - any comments on experiences people have had with 5130 would be nice :)
as i don't stay in delhi, I had to order online on indiaplaza - the cost was 6k and delivery time is 15 days.

Also has anyone seen the preview videos of the upcoming sony erricson satio, aino and yari - with 12 mega pixel cameras, ability to remote access your PS3 and Wii style gaming capabilities respectively, the specs seem totally drool :) they are all based on symbian and wonder how they will fare against winmo and iphone
Sony Erisson Satio, Aino and Yari hands-on
They are also featured on the sony erricson india site now

Hey Guys,
I need to pick up a CDMA phone asap. Though this will be a secondary phone to my E71 but I will be making and receiving more calls on it than my E71 which will be delegated to the duties of a data device. So can someone please recommend which phone I should get. Here are my requirements:

1) Service Provider: It has to work on the Tata Indicom Network. I already have a T-Sim
2) Location: Need to buy the phone in Mumbai
3) Cost: Between 6K and 12K
4) Features: Good Battery Life / Smart Design - Slim and comfy to hold and use / decent UI / Form Factor can be Bar / Shell or Slider / MP3 ring tones would be a plus.
5) Cannot be Grey Market - Needs propper Bill and Warranty
6) Do not care about Camera / browsing experience etc.

So Gents, please fire away your recommendations. I was thinking of the Samsung MPOWER 309 but the reviews are not that great and the Samsung Max looks a bit bulky.

I really liked the Motorola MOTORAZR2 V9m, but sadly this only works on Reliance CDMA.

Thanks!
vcash

P.S. Can the Indicom T-Sim work in a phone bought from Reliance World (Such as the MOTORAZR2?)

P.P.S Has LG stopped selling CDMA phones in India?

Anybody got a Samsung 5233 (Star) recently? I had seen the phone and was quiet impressed by it fast UI, not so bad cam, and ofcourse the great price Rs 9300/-

But now when i enquire the prices have shot past Rs 10,000/- all in just 2 weeks time.

Do you guys know any place in Bangalore where I can get one for the old price?

ps: The one offered for Rs 9300 too had a sticker that said MPR Rs 11K odd. That was from Univercell, Indiranagar.

Guess the demand is pushing up the price.

Got my "Black" E63. First comment - Looks very professional.

Black color is a lot better compared to the red/blue E63 or the white E71.

Pros:
many many depending on what is your interest

Cons: (I guess every one would be insterested in hearing this)
- No side buttons for volume, scrolling or camera click. How dumb (I missed noticing this before buying)
- Not loud enough - can miss my calls when outdoors
- Many irritating functions - E.g.: I am yet to figure out how to copy a fone number (easily/directly) from a recieved SMS, msg function key takes me to my email inbox(should figure out how to fix this), applications dont close themselves easily, selecting a subset of msgs etc
- No cover! yet to get a decent quality cover for this which doesnt cost a fortune
- Compared to the metal casing of E71, this plastic case feels cheap (to me)
- Keypad is a bit tacky I feel. Worried how soon would it go bad.
- Doesnt allow me to use SIM contacts directly...

Enough of my cribbing. Its a nice phone. Love to browse through Wifi, make VOIP calls through fring. And black looks attractive. And I got it on Ebay with bill, (including the datacable - unlike mentioned on the websites) for just Rs 11590 minus Rs 500 (voucher) = Rs 11090 which is a great bargain :D

Do we get Mobile Phone Cheaper in Singapore. If yes which one worth buy considering Music as top priority and other one for business (wifi is must).

For music Nokia 5130 Xpress music is a very good deal. Its comes with a nice screen and the music quality according to onlien reviews is as good or even better than the iPOD touch 2. And now the best part, its cost, just 6k's!

I am in the market for a standby phone, one with the best possible signal reception - the erstwhile Nokia 1100 used to be the champ here! Suggestions please!!

I have heard that BSNL and Reliance are now offering 3G...
..is this only for select cities? if yes, which ones?

Is there an official date when the other providers (namely, Airtel, Vodafone, Tata) will be getting the same?

I want to downgrade to Blackberry Javelin 8900 because of its size (smaller), but its only drawback is that it doesn't support 3G.

So are these other providers going to establish 3G networks asap, which will make sense to not give away my 3G Blackberry

Guys...I need suggestions on purchasing a few GSM phones for my project. The following are the requirements.

# Must support Bluetooth, Java (MIDP 2.0, Java 3rd party applications)
# Should have expandable memory (Min 1 Gig)

Which is the cheapest phone (any manufacturer) available for this purpose?

& also

Which is the cheapest S60 OS phone supporting the above requirements?

I don't care about camera, MP3, screen size, voice/audio quality, battery backup, aesthetics...Just need suggestions on the cheapest phones matching the above requirements.

Reposting since the first request got buried.

I have a challengin question again.
Now, I have a Blackberry Curve, 8310, lying with me.
It is in an almost new condition but there is one problem:
- When I switch it on, it switches on and then switches off within seconds.
Hence it is impossible to use it and even charge it.
I have even switched the battery and tried.
Please help guys.

Anyone here using SE Xperia 1. I liked the phone, but want to know its drawbacks in case I buy this out.
