^^ the above sounded at first like car names to me - sl65 and m5 :-)
Siemens used to name their phones on merc's and they also had many limited editions like the Mclaren SX1.
M series were rugged phones (really rugged)
S series were luxury
E series were middle of the road
C series were cheap.
Sl were sliders ( :D)

dont think so , only one color as of now
Guys, purchased the E63 (cherry red) for my wife yesterday. INR 12,300. Exchanged her E51 for INR 3400. Net INR 8900. Plus got a Molife pouch complimentary.
A query for all the E series users: How does one configure Lotus Notes mail on the device? Can it be done at all?

I was under the impression E63 is a business phone.
Is that right?

You didn't see the condition of that handset. Plus it had gotten pretty unreliable. I wouldn't want to sell something doubtful here for a few hundred rupees more.
@harry10: yes, the E63 is very much a business phone...and the red avatar is for business-ladies (or corporate-ladies)!!
Anyway, how about my original question:
Lotus Notes mail configuration on the E63?
I know from researching the net (fancy words for googling) that IBM does offer a mobility solution for Lotus Notes, but as far as I could tell, it's for the enterprise...anyone know any solution for the individual?
If it is S60 3rd edition, it should work with Lotus Notes Traveler - officially supported by Nokia (email, calendar, address book, journal and to-do list data). The Enterprise part is only about policy setting on / from the server side. But, which email service is running on Lotus Notes outside an enterprise scenario?

The email service is very much running in an enterprise. But I was under the impression that there needs to be some enterprise-wide commissioning of users done.
Where can I get the Lotus Notes Traveler client (or is it an add-on?) on my phone? And the IT folks would need to do certain configuration changes at the back end?
Check on
IBM Lotus Notes site. E63 is listed under Nokia devices.
Apart from the usual policies, I think they need to set up (like BB registration) your device id to be recognized as a valid device for security reasons. The configuration changes will be for you, not in general. Enterprise-wide commissioning is one time policy settings. Device registration is done via a program.
Not sure about the carrier partnerships, though. BB has staging servers run by carriers, IBM must be referring to the same kind. You will need to ask IBM - asking Airtel or such in India is not going to get you any answers.
Hello,
I am planning to buy a cell phone within 20,000/-
Must features I would like to have, are
1. Touch screen
2. Internet
3. GPS
After a lot of search on internet, I have come accross Nokia 5800 and HTC P3470 models. And my liking goes with HTC P3470 due to its super GPS capability. If you experts are having any bettter suggestion please let me know.
I would suggest HTC P3470 if GPS is going to be used significantly for on-road navigation.
Quite a few packages (E.g. ViaGPS used by MapMyIndia) do not run on Symbian.
OTOH for trekking Nokia would be a better choice. Still to see a better data logger then Nokia sports tracker.
