If you want GPS apps running from day 1, i wouldnt recommend iPhone now. Now its limited to Gmaps in India.

just go for windows mobile - iphone has a good UI (for users who never saw winmo and used non-touchscreen nokia phones all their life), but still struggles with basic features (although with inclusion of cut-paste they seem to be making progress :) )
I use touch diamond in my car now (forced to use bberry for email by office) and its a really good phone :thumbs up
By going for TD2, I will be breaking a covenant I made almost 30 months back. But HTCs are not known for market skimming or reducing price drastically right? At least one doesn't get cheated after few months. When TD2 release in India?

That's like 52% to 64% depreciation in 5 months, I bought it for 25K. Now the normal N73 costs 19K and Music Edition (with 2GB) is 22K. Looks like Nokia itself is depreciating their products by these price cuts.
This is a real lesson for me, I don't think I'll buy newly released phones that are priced above 15K anymore. The price sinks like Titanic within months. What a ripoff.:Frustrati

You are right Samurai,
HTC doesnt skim the prices drastically. I was waiting for the Touch HD prices to come down for almost a year and when the TD2 arrived within budget, I was gifted one. TD2 has been here for almost 2-3 mths in India.
Enough of queries, just buy one. :D
Windows Mobile 6.1 is updated version of PocketPC 2002, which was mainly designed for stylus driven environment. Its not in the same league as iPhone OS or Android for supporting touch screen.

HTCs are best Windows Mobiles. You can also consider HTC TD, which is going very cheap these days.

I saw the iPhone 3GS price as 49K in Univercell website.
Univercell is just speculating. The price is not yet announced - either by Airtel or Vodafone. I expect it to be the range of 30~35K - almost same as current prices.

I have a Sony Ericsson HBH PV 702 bluetooth headset (pic attached).
I noticed that a slight tip of the earhook has broken off. Due to this, the headset has become un-wearable. Can someone suggest where can I get a replacement ear hook and at what cost? I searched around at mobile shops and none have it.

E 72 is expected in the end of this month or max in september 1st week hence the price drop,price drop with other models is because of lot of other chinese companies doing rounds in the market with dual sim option.

nishanth the replacement for the earhook is not available,spares for accessories was never available,if the headset is still under warranty i would suggest you complain of bad voice clearity at sony service centre and claim the replacement in warranty.it will happen without any check up,usally company does not check the performance of accessories when it is in warranty.
otherwise the only option is to stick a medical tape lol:
