@zerocritical, that's good to know! My ROM upgrade on the XDA IIi went south. The phone killed itself in between the ROM upgrade. No sign of life, except a slight flickering on the screen. Guess I am in the market for a new WiMo phone now. |

Do either Vodafone (Mumbai) or AirTel (Mumbai) offer any 'unlimited usage' plans (to be able to stay connected while on the go) for under 500 bucks? Would this be the GPRS/EDGE facility? |

Let me add, its full access through EDGE/GPRS but there is a free download limit of 100 MB IIRC with 399 rest will be charged at 10paise/10kb or something like that. Just dial customer service of both service providers and get the details. |

Just got her working heh, heh. Thought I'd give it one more try after seeing your post. Upgrade went smoothly. It has been 10 minutes now and no hanging/freezing so far. Attachment 101921 Keeping fingers crossed. Looks like she's all ok :) BTW, I'm from Cochin (a.k.a. Kochi). |
