Also, after formatting the HTC, GPS doesn't work.Does anybody have any clue of what needs to be done to get it back to working?

Try installing google maps. GPS should work fine with it.

My Sis-in-Law is looking to get a new mobile after exchanging here MOTO ROKR E6.

She is looking for a phone within 15k after exchange of the old mobile phone. Her priority requirements:

1. Touch Screen
2. Atleast a 3.2 MP Camera with Flash (Read: Flash is a MUST!!)
3. Wi-Fi and a decent sound quality.

Suggest a good phone,please :)

@Rajiv, stretch the budget a little & Nokia 5800 can be her's!

Hey Bhp1,

Budget is the main constraint.Apart from the Nokia 5800,don't we have any other options.

Im a Nokia guy! Haven't used Cookie, neither do any of my friends own it, but from the reviews I have read about it, seems to be an ok phone & retails for ~ 13k.

Another choice among TS is Sony P1, but that's gotten too old & maybe its production has also stopped, but not sure.

Other cheaper TS phones are: HTC Touch Viva, but it has a 2mp. camera only.
Motorola A1600, this also seems to be a good phone & retails for ~ 14k.

Alternately you could try the Apple iphone 2G which is available in the grey market for around your budget, but has a 2mp. cam.

I have a Nokia E51. It has 4 months of warranty still remaining.

The rubber buttons on the sides (vol +/-, PTT,) and the top (profile switching) have worn out as my wife (long nails!) was using it for some time.

I rarely use these buttons, but still, would like to get them replaced as they are a sore sight. The buttons are purely functional though.

Just wondering - does the warranty cover such replacement?

For reference, I am attaching (bad quality) pics.

Get a cam with Macro mode to take these pics NG, nothing is visible!

Will do so in the evening (from home). These pics were clicked on a friend's 6300. But you get the drift na?

I agree, the pix are terrible! :D I don't think warranty will cover this. And finding replacement covers for this could be tough.

Find attached good quality pics. Are replacement covers not available easily?

I just picked up a Samsung Behold, and I'd like to sync it to my Motorola bluetooth set. Any pointers here?
(the phone has a touch screen & a 5MP camera.Things I like!)

Ouch! That's quite a bad state Nishant. E-mail Nokia with these pics & see if replacement covers are available. And this is definitely not covered under warranty.

@Nishant, replacement covers may not be available off the shelf (at non-Nokia service joints), but the Nokia Care Centres should be able to replace the necessary parts. I'm sure warranty will not cover the replacement. They should not cost thaaaat much, as these are just rubber parts. BTW, that looks like one really well-used phone!
