Hi Ramie,
thanks for the reply. I think you are refferring the K850i Here. Its also a nice 5MP cell, but i am some how leaned towards Moto's ZN5 (Have gone through most of the reviews, had nice opinions regarding Camera)

So I want to know the user experiance of the same(ZN5) ,
anyone or his/ her friends has got the same please reply to finalize my decision.

Also all the Motorola users please feedback wrt the A.s.s. & in general reliability of Moto cells wrt Nokia.

Regards,
Ravi

I got my HTC Tytn II last week.

I am mightly impressed with this PDA phone, can be called a baby laptop.

A brief review:Am yet to try out all the features of this awesome phone.

Just got a new E63 red! Minimalistic box contents i must say!!!

Motorola phones are fashion phones and are not tough . The A.S.S. is good as it is outsourced to professional companies. If you want to use it for 1-2 years buy it, if you want a 5 year phone then there is no choice but Nokia.

Now that I've Nokia E71, I've few questions.
1) When installing an application, is it better to install the application in the phone memory or in the memory card. Till now, I;ve been installing it in memory card.

2) When there is a new firmware for a phone, it is advised to take a back up before upgrading the firmware. With my earlier phone, Nokia E51, I used to take a backup to the memory card in the phone it self before upgrading the firmware. Now, after upgrading, if I try to use the option 'Restore from card', I'm not getting the applications back in the applications folder, but they are visible in the application manager. What is that I need to do so that the applications are back in the applications folder after upgrading and then using 'Restore from card' option? I'm forced to reinstall the applications after the firmware upgrade.

The reason why I'm asking this is, there is a new firmware for Nokia E71 (code -0566235, firmware - 200.21.118). Now, that I want to upgrade the firmware and I do not want to loose the installed appliation that are currently installed in the memory card.

Can anyone suggest the best options for the above 2 questions so that I can go ahead with the firmware upgrade? Thanks in advance.

1. Installing applications on memory shouldn't be a problem at all. I belive E71 comes with 100MB phone memory so u can install ur favourite theme on the phone so that its faster to load up etc. Using Phone memory for SMS also makes it faster and consumes less battery i think. But the idea should be to have enough free memory on the phone.

2. Unlike the N82, E71 does not support UDP, so you will have to do a manual backup using PCSUITE

Wonderful decision FinneyP.
so how are You managing to carry Your lappy ;)

What kind of blue tooth comes with the E71?
Is it worth taking that, or should one use it for getting a discount?

Nokia BH-102 is the bluetooth headset i got along with my E71.

If you are offered a discount without the headset then go for it .

Guess this can be of help-Tip: Do A Hard Reset On Your E71 If You Start Having Problems.

& Yeah .I guess I will be using it for 1-2 Years only, coz anyhow I have lost two of My N-series in 1-1.5 yrs span.:D Its a mad word (Have to travel by Mumbai Locals.) so I guess main reliability coming 2nd here to Luck factor.

Why would you want a camera-less E51 at 15k, when a fully loaded E51 retails for under 10k?
