I have come across Samsung Blackjack i607 in the Amazon for around $80. My sister can bring it for me from USA(so no need to worry about shipping costs

). It appears to have all the features I was looking for and more! Any known issues with this piece I should be knowing before jumping to buy it?

Also there is SAMSUNG SGH-a177 priced similarly. Which of the two is better? Any other good options under $100 price? I dont mind even if it is not QWERTY type as long as it has document viewer!

it was released long ago.

How about the Nokia 6700 classic and Nokia 6700 slide or the Nokia 6600i slide?? In my opinion they are a bit on the lower than the Nokia 8800 or 8600 in the styling department!!!

i have the 8800 the 8600 gold and the 6600 slide.
The 8800 and the 8600 have a solid "mechanical" slide with steel hinges and its very classy and reassuring when you slide the phone.
the 6600 slide is rather "plasticky" and is very fragile.
the price difference between the two(was??) is also a lot.

Thanks but I think the 8600 Luna was like a segment lower? correct me if Im wrong but what Im wondering is has Nokia got any plans to have a true successor to that phone? I miss it so much, it was my kinda perfect phone. Just a gorgeous phone.

At last I bought a black Nokia X6 16GB today evening at 15500/- . I got Phone, Ac8 fast Charger, Mini Usb Cable, Car Charger, Car holder, Mini DVD with the phone. I got a philips Headset also free with the Mobile.

Its a great phone. I started loving X6 !!!

I bought 5230 last week for Rs.7400/- from Sangeetha Mobile Store.
It is the Navigation pack - free car mount and holder with pre-loaded maps and free navigation. The touch screen is finger friendly. You can use it with one hand. Considering the price and the features we get, 5230 is real VFM.

Everything was "In the Box" except the philips extra headset. I got that when i told the dealer that i got a less quote from an another big shop. It was true and it was 15200. But I like this dealer from where I bought the Mobile.

This is the first nokia touch with capacitive touch screen !!

@JKDas, Unless until you are not much concerned about mails and office, E series is not for us. E series can be compared with BB's . N series and X series from Nokia is rocking now.

Samsung's are making market with touch screen mobiles.. What happened to sonyericsson? it was the only name I heard before 1.5 yrs.

So E52 is not comparable with your X6, I feel.

I think Nokia is leaving these low-tech but ultra luxury phones for their Luxury brand Vertu to handle. They recently launched an all gold version of the 6700 but that again was priced below 15k i believe.

If don't care about emails and techy stuff and what a phone to make a statement like a watch then get the Vertu. Or else get a BB or iPhone and get it customized platinum,gold,etc by numerous companies abroad to make it 'luxury special'

Guys when is the C3 being launched??
