Mobile experts and friends out here, I am in search for a higher end smart phone with a budget extendible up to 30Ks. Requirements : - Good processor, upgradable OS & application friendly (Android seems to be the best option), should hold on for next 2 years atleast. - Good camera, full HD recording with 1080pi as added bonus. - Good display (AmoLED seems to be standard in this range with pixels number varying with sets) - User friendly and light weight if possible for daily use. - Troublefree :D Choices are : - Samsung S2 for 27Ks (the blockbuster of last year) - New Xperia S for 29Ks(seems to have the best config.) - HTC One for 28Ks (again very good config.) - Lumia 800 for 23Ks (Windows ! But lots of features skipped) Or any other set to consider ? Please help ! Budget shouldn't cross 30Ks. I will be waiting till diwali. |

Samsung has slashed the price of S3 to 34k approx. Search for a deal and you should get it online in the range of 33 -34k. |

Any issues with warranty, delivery or quality etc ? |

I am looking for a mobile phone for my mom . Is Nokia Asha 311 a good choice for elderly folks ? She wants a phone that is kind of easy and comfortable with the keyboard. If there are any other models which i should consider, please suggest.:thumbs up |

Finally decided to take the plunge and looking for a reasonably good phone in the 12-15k budget. Should have : - A good camera. - Not outdated or about to be. - Good Performance. - Decent screen size and resolution. - Front camera. - Build quality should be as good as my nearly 5 yr old Nokia 6500 S. I am not really finicky about the OS. Except no niche OSes like Bada. This will be my first smartphone ever. Any suggestions ? Had shortlisted the Xperia U (no expandable memory) , Lumia 710 (no front cam but free maps are a big draw) and the HTC One V (no front cam, reliability issues floating around the web) , but unable to decide. |
