Or maybe spend on phone-in-camera type thing instead of camera-in-phone?

Something like this: Panasonic's Lumix CM1 smartphone-camera hybrid

IMHO better than equally expensive iPhone.

Ah, yes :)

But I could never carry something that expensive in my shirt pocket

As luck would have it, I was looking for a OnePlus ONE Indian invite till yesterday afternoon, but in the 24 hours since I've received a total of seven Indian invites from OnePlus directly. Initially I had just four but when I started giving out three of them (on T-BHP) I received another three. :D

Got them simply by subscribing to OnePlus India's newsletter at https://oneplus.net/in

Cheers

PS: Have retained one for myself (phone already ordered) and have distributed the remaining six on Team-BHP.

WOW, you are a lucky guy. I have registered there with 6 email ID's but never received one. I had bought my phone earlier thanks to another good tbhpian who shared his invite. The invite you shared today with me was for my friend and he has ordered it.

Thank you again for sharing the invite.

Cheers!!!

2015 has started well for you. Wish it stays the same throughout. Happy new year!

Thank you for sharing the invite. It was for my friend and he is smiling from chin to chin (Like this - :D) after having ordered the phone now.

This deserves an entry in the "Value of TBHP" thread clap:

Hi,

In case anyone has a One Plus One invite to spare, kindly PM me.

Thanks in advance.

Bangalore / Pune bhpians, have you checked if the 4G bands available in OnePlus One are compatible with Airtel 4G network? From the specs, it is not clear if it has only LTE bands or TD-LTE bands.

Yes the one plus one has all the 4G bands and will be compatible in India.

I continue to suffer from Wifi issues on my Nexus 5 even after the update to 5.0.1. The phone refuses to use the Wifi network and rather uses my 3G network. I have ended up wasting close to 1500 Rs by now as by the time I realise that it is using my 3G, I end up having exhausted my pack. Now on I have made a rule to first switch off data and then use Wifi in which case 60% of the times the phone starts using the Wifi normally and rest 40% of the time it uses the Wifi but with an exclamation mark next to it. Really surprised as to how Google managed to screw up something that was working flawlessly all these years.

On a side note, to avoid overusing data better put the data limit in Settings and ask Android to stop using mobile data when the limit is reached.
